The part of training nobody talks about
If you work in medtech, you probably know this feeling. The product is ready, the surgeons are interested, your KOL has said yes, and then someone asks the question: so where are we actually doing this? Is there a good medical training venue in Budapest, or somewhere else in Europe, that can handle it?
Suddenly you’re comparing venues, chasing quotes for animal tissue, figuring out who handles catering, booking hotels for twenty doctors from six countries, and wondering whether the room will even have enough power sockets for your devices. None of that is your real job, but all of it has to go right.
At LNP Academy, a medical training organiser based in Budapest, we come from years of organising international events. We’ve been the people holding the clipboard at 7am, hoping the delivery shows up. That’s a big part of why we built LNP the way we did: so that the people running a medical training can spend their energy on teaching, not on logistics.
What we actually do
At LNP Academy, we organise medical trainings from start to finish, either at our own training centre in Budapest, on the grounds of János Hospital in Buda, or at partner institutions. We have a seminar room for lectures and a wet lab and skills lab for hands-on work, and we can host groups of up to 30 participants. For many medical device trainings, that’s just the right size: small enough that everyone gets real time on the device, big enough to make the day worth it.
So yes, we are a medical training venue in Budapest, but honestly, the room is the easy part. What we really offer is taking the whole organisation off your plate. Depending on what you need, that can include:
- the venue itself, set up for your session
- animal tissue for wet lab practice, sourced and prepared for you
- equipment and consumables for hands-on stations
- catering, coffee breaks and a dinner if you’d like one
- accommodation and local transport for participants and faculty
- participant registration and payment handling
- help arranging CME accreditation, if your programme needs it
- on-site coordination on the day, so you always have someone to turn to
You bring your product, your faculty and your know-how. We take care of everything around it. If your training needs a larger hall, special facilities or a different location, we organise it at one of our partner institutions instead, with the same care. The venue is just one detail; the organisation is what we really do.
Why Budapest works so well as a medical training venue
We’re biased, of course, but Budapest really is a good place to bring doctors together. It’s in the middle of Europe, with direct flights from most major cities, and many participants can arrive in the morning and still have a full training day ahead of them. Costs are noticeably friendlier than in Western Europe, which leaves more of your budget for the training itself.
And there’s the city. People come away from a course here remembering the conversations over dinner by the Danube as much as the sessions. For a medtech company, that matters. A training is also a chance to build relationships with the surgeons who will use your product for years, and a good atmosphere makes that so much easier.
What working with us looks like
We host hands-on surgical courses with faculty from across Europe and beyond, in fields like laparoscopic surgery, maxillofacial and oral surgery, dentistry and more. Alongside that, we’re more and more working with medtech companies who need a place for product trainings, device demonstrations and KOL-led workshops.
A typical collaboration starts with a simple conversation. You tell us what you want participants to walk away with, how many people you expect and roughly when. We come back with a proposal and a clear, all-in price, so there are no surprises later. Around two months before the date is a comfortable lead time, but we can often move faster if you need us to.
From then on, we keep you updated without drowning you in emails. On the day, your team arrives to a room that’s ready, tissue that’s prepared, coffee that’s hot, and participants who know exactly where to go. You teach, we handle the rest.
We’re not limited to classic courses either. If you’re planning a product launch for a small group of surgeons, a testing session, a research-related workshop or something that doesn’t fit any box yet, just ask. Some of our best projects started with “this might be a strange question, but…”
Let’s talk about your next training
We’re still a young team, and we’re building LNP Academy one course at a time. We don’t pretend to be the biggest training centre in Europe. What we can promise is that we’ll care about your event as much as you do, and that working with us will feel easy.
If you’re looking for a medical training venue in Budapest, or you’re simply not sure yet where your next medtech training should happen, we’d love to hear from you. Write to us at office@lnpacademy.com or have a look at lnpacademy.com. Even if we turn out not to be the right fit, we’re always happy to share what we know.
