Two Days of Intensive Orthognathic Surgery Training
The Orthognathic Cadaver Course is an intensive two-day hands-on training programme focusing on contemporary orthognathic surgery.
The course combines state-of-the-art lectures, live surgical demonstrations and extensive practical training under realistic surgical conditions.
Participants will work on key orthognathic procedures including maxillary osteotomies, mandibular osteotomies, genioplasty and malar osteotomy, while exploring surgical techniques, CBCT-based 3D planning and fixation strategies.
The 2026 course is organised by LNP Academy, with the InterCleft Foundation serving as the scientific and professional lead. In collaboration with TITAMED, participants will gain direct hands-on experience with the TITAMED Smart Fixation System during maxillary and mandibular osteotomy sessions.
Special preservation techniques ensure realistic colour, tissue consistency and surgical handling comparable to live surgery.

Orthognathic Surgery. From Planning to Fixation.
The InterCleft Orthognathic Cadaver Course is an intensive two-day hands-on training program designed to provide practical experience in contemporary orthognathic surgery. The course brings together state-of-the-art lectures, live surgical demonstrations and extensive cadaver practice under realistic surgical conditions.
Participants will work through key stages of the orthognathic workflow, from surgical planning and osteotomy principles to fixation strategies. Practical sessions cover maxillary and mandibular osteotomies, genioplasty and malar osteotomy. A dedicated focus of the 2026 edition is the TITAMED Smart Fixation System, giving participants direct hands-on experience with plates, screws and dedicated instrumentation during practical surgical sessions. Special preservation techniques are used to provide realistic colour, tissue consistency and surgical handling comparable to live surgery.

Five fully equipped operating tables accommodate ten participants, with one anatomical specimen per participant, dedicated instruments and surgical motors, and continuous guidance from experienced faculty and table instructors.

Dr. Krisztián Nagy, MD, DMD, PhD, FEBOMFS
Head of Faculty
Dr. Krisztián Nagy is a maxillofacial surgeon with extensive expertise in orthognathic, cleft and craniofacial surgery, as well as 3D simulation, virtual treatment planning and CBCT technology. He is Head and leading surgeon of the Face Reconstruction Centre at Semmelweis University in Budapest, Professor at KU Leuven, Belgium, and Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon in Belgium.
His international clinical and academic experience spans leading centres across Europe and beyond, including Bruges, Vienna, Zurich and Taipei, complemented by advanced training specifically in orthognathic and cranio-maxillofacial surgery. He is also a Fellow of the European Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Head and Neck Surgery (FEBOMFS).
Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Nagy has an extensive academic and research background with over 75 scientific publications, with research interests spanning orthognathic surgery, craniofacial reconstruction, 3D planning and CBCT-based technologies.
